I think I pulled a bait and switch on Kat and didn’t even mean to, and in fact, didn’t even think about it until I got home to Emmanuel. We were in her car together, after rehersal, and I did this:

Me: Hey, I wanted to talk to you about something.
Kat: Yes?
Me: I was thinking about the play, particularly the portrayals of the villians in the play, I feel that it’s sort of too comed-
Kat: I totally agree. We’re fixing that. (said with head against steering wheel, looking at me in the passenger seat)

Why am I a total idiot? If she feels the same way, this was like that moment in Bruce Almighty when Jennifer Aniston thinks that Jim Carrey is going to propose, but he actually says that he’s going to go for anchorman… Wow, I’m a douchebag. Kill me.
