hey guys,

I had a fantastic night tonight. I saw eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, and it was totally incredible. I went into that movie with the highest expectations, and only left after the entire credits had rolled, my soul filled and satisfied. :)

We had the Emmanuel rental van out for the night because Peter was going to take it out tomorrow morning for a picnic with some of our friends, and we got the keys early. So we went down to Indooroopilly shopping centre to see "Eternal Sunshine..." at the cinema (can you tell that the Aussie colloquialisms are rubbing off on me?). Because we had the van, I thought we should go into the city, because when are we going to have that chance again, where we don't have to take the bus in, and don't have to pay for a cab ride back?? So we drove around, got lost a lot, tried to meet our friend Joey (eventually did, after searching a crowded Irish pub, she actually was walking a friend to the train station, and got a random piggy back ride from some guy on the way back; go figure!) and got some fantastic pancakes at "Perfect Pancakes." There were crepes there too, but I went with the pancakes. They looked kind of small in the picture, but they were gynormously thick. I ate four, and while they were fantastically good, I feel about ten pounds heavier. Good thing I worked out today.

Intersetingly, we ran into Peter from 3rd Res, Missy, and Hazel, all from Emmanuel, who were coming in just as we were leaving. Totally groovy coincidences. Brisbane is a really small city.

So now I'm home, and feeling super happy. :)
