Violence and Beauty

Just got back from the Laramie cast party. Matt told me that he thought I was very real, that what I was doing was really great. He said he thought I was a great actor and a great guy. Everyone from the cast has told me that they want to see me before I leave. It’s a nice feeling, to know that people really care, you know? I told them that I might have a party at Leah’s house, so I hope that’ll be huge affair, not unlike my going-away party last semester. J Good memories, those.
Minor dramas include Liz from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest having a crush on one of Matt’s friends Tom, and Tom pashing Liz, the production manager for Laramie. Minor chaos in general. I convinced Sara, our costume designer type person to come to the party, and she ended up wildly pashing Matt’s Canadian friend, also called Matt, on the porch for well over an hour and a half (they were still going when we left).
I also hurt my back during yoga. We were putting our legs behind her heads by leaning back from a shoulder stand, and I slipped a bit and pulled something, and aggravated it by moving chairs. However, Tim gave me some Panadol and it went away lickety split. I can barely feel it now.
The show went really well, I think, with a large audience. Bernice, one of our violinists, made a point oif getting my contact info. She’s such a sweetie. I burned a copy of Cursive’s “Ugly Organ” for her.
